Music and literature are my passions…
all about Nick
I have a strong background in music and performance, the arts in general and in radio broadcasting.
My training is in music and literature and I have a passion for both, as a performer and writer.
My love of poetry started in school and has continued to this day. I have read widely across a diverse field of poetry, literature and cultural studies. For many years I wrote for the Star Observer newspaper and OutRage magazine as an arts reviewer and interviewer.
I am a proud supporter of public initiatives to promote the wellbeing and social harmony of the LGBTQI community. I enjoyed 10 years of broadcasting on JOY 94.9 FM as news director and later, as one of the presenters of Saturday Magazine. More recently I have been consulting to the National Disability Insurance Agency, writing their LGBTIQA+ Strategy.
As a consultant, my key role is to listen and find the right words that work best for my clients. When I help you write your wedding ceremony, I coach you both to articulate the experience you want from your ceremony. Then we work on the words, music and gestures that will make that experience real.
I am based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
I am happy to travel across the metropolitan area.
